Ceiling fan replacement in San Diego
All of our services include a 1-year workmanship warranty.
Reasons for Ceiling Fan Replacement
-
Worn-Out or Noisy
Old fans with worn motors or bearings can become noisy, shaky, or stop working altogether. A replacement ensures smooth, quiet operation.
-
Electrical Problems
If your fan flickers, doesn’t respond to switches or remotes, or cuts out randomly, it could be an internal wiring issue. Replacing the fan is often safer and more reliable than trying to repair it.
-
Style or Efficiency Upgrade
Modern fans are quieter, more energy-efficient, and come with updated styles and features like remote controls or smart connectivity. A new fan can completely refresh the look and feel of your space.

FAQs
How much does it cost to replace a ceiling fan?
Prices vary depending on the height of your ceiling, type of fan, and whether there’s existing wiring in place. Most standard ceiling fan replacements range from $150 to $250 for labor, not including the cost of the fan.
Can you replace a ceiling fan with a light fixture, or vice versa?
Yes. We can convert a ceiling fan to a light fixture or replace a light fixture with a ceiling fan, as long as the wiring and electrical box are appropriate. If not, we’ll let you know what’s needed.
Do I need to supply the fan, or do you bring it?
You’re welcome to purchase your own ceiling fan, or we can supply one for you. If you’d like us to source a fan, let us know your style and budget preferences.
How long does a ceiling fan replacement take?
Most replacements take about 1–2 hours. If new wiring or bracing is needed, it could take longer. We’ll let you know during the estimate.
Do you remove and dispose of the old fan?
Yes. Removal of the old fan is included, and we can dispose of it unless you want to keep it.
Can you install remote-controlled or smart ceiling fans?
Absolutely. We install standard pull-chain fans, remote-controlled fans, and smart fans that connect to Alexa, Google Home, or mobile apps.
What type of electrical box is needed for a ceiling fan?
Ceiling fans require a fan-rated electrical box to support the weight and movement of the fan. If your current box isn’t rated for fans, we can upgrade it during installation.
